Revamped Management Information System (MIS)

A company in the cosmetic manufacturing industry was going through a restructuring process by bringing in new investors. To strengthen its monthly performance reviews with investors, the company wanted to improve the Management Information System (MIS). We analyzed the current performance review method and its content. Based on our understanding, we restructured the MIS, which included the Profit and Loss Statement, Cash Flow Statement, and Balance Sheet. Our efforts also led to the automation of various aspects of the system. The revamped MIS system provided more robustness, better insights, and greater transparency, which met the expectations of both investors and management. The leadership team was able to make faster and more informed decisions as a result of the improved system.
